About Rendcomb College

Rendcomb College is an independent boarding and day school located around six miles from Cirencester. Founded in 1920 to provide a holistic boarding education, the school became fully co-educational in 1997. The junior school joined the community in 2000, followed by the nursery in 2005, and the campus is home to four boarding houses. The school aims to develop thoughtful, adventurous and academically ambitious young people, equipping them with the character and skills to become lifelong learners ready for the world beyond school. The school welcomes both day and boarding pupils, with boarders coming from a range of countries including those in the Far East, Germany and Spain. The school supports pupils with a variety of learning needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and makes curriculum adaptations for its most able learners. Support is also available for pupils for whom English is an additional language.
