St Edward's Preparatory School is an independent co-educational day school welcoming children aged one to eleven, set on a 45-acre site on the edge of Cheltenham. The school is organised into three sections: a kindergarten for children aged one to four, a pre-prep for those aged four to seven, and a prep department for pupils aged seven to eleven. It was established in 1995 and is governed by St Edward's School Trust (Cheltenham), which also oversees a senior school located two miles away. The school has a Christian ethos with a Catholic foundation and warmly welcomes pupils of all faiths and none. At its heart is a strong sense of family, where every child is valued and supported to fulfil their individual potential in a caring environment. The school believes that each pupil is truly unique and aims to help children recognise their own gifts and talents, encouraging a lasting ambition for self-improvement. Most pupils come from British families living within a twenty-minute journey of the school.
