About Lambrook School

Lambrook is an independent co-educational boarding and day school, founded in 1860. It sits on a fifty-two-acre site close to Ascot, Bracknell and Windsor, and is run as a charitable trust administered by a board of governors. The school has two sections: one for pupils in the EYFS and Years 1 and 2, and a preparatory section for pupils in Years 3 to 8. Boarding is available from the age of seven, with boys and girls accommodated in separate boarding houses. Pupils can board on a flexible basis for up to five nights a week. Most pupils come from professional and business backgrounds and live within a fifteen-mile radius of the school. The school aims to keep a happy balance between education and childhood, giving pupils the confidence and skills to leave as happy, engaging, mature and thoughtful young adults. Specialist support is available for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and additional provision is in place for those with particular talents in art, music, drama and sport, as well as for academically able pupils following a scholarship curriculum.
