About The Lyceum School

The Lyceum is an independent co-educational day school owned and governed by Dukes Education. It welcomes children from Reception through to Year 6, with an Early Years Foundation Stage section alongside the prep school. The school has been based in its current premises since May 2019. At the heart of the school is a caring and supportive environment that encourages kindness, creativity and confidence. The school aims to nurture in every pupil a love of community, helping them to value their own unique gifts and to understand that they can make a positive contribution to the world. Pupils come from a range of professional families with diverse cultural backgrounds, the majority living within a short journey of the school. The school identifies and supports pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, including dyslexia and dyspraxia, as well as those for whom English is an additional language, and those who are more able, adapting the curriculum to meet a variety of learning needs.
