About St Christopher School

St Christopher is a co-educational day and boarding school, founded in 1915 and rooted in values of inclusion and respect. Since 1928, the school has welcomed pupils of all faiths and none, and is run as a charity overseen by a board of governors. It offers provision from the Early Years Foundation Stage through to the sixth form, with boarders living in a centrally located boarding house within the school grounds. The school draws pupils largely from professional families in Hertfordshire and the surrounding counties, including London, as well as boarders from both UK and overseas families. Pupils span a broad range of abilities, and the school provides specialist support for those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, as well as additional help for pupils for whom English is an additional language. At the heart of St Christopher's approach is a genuine commitment to seeing every pupil as an individual. The school aims to nurture curiosity, kindness, and good judgement, while encouraging pupils to grow into independent learners and creative thinkers with a strong sense of social conscience and a real zest for life.
