About Sherborne House School

Sherborne House School is an independent co-educational day school for pupils aged from six months to eleven years, set within its own grounds near Chandler's Ford in Hampshire. Founded in 1933, the school has been part of the Bellevue Education Group since 2016. It welcomes children into its Early Years Foundation Stage from six months old, into the pre-prep from rising five, and into the prep department from ages seven to eleven. The school aims to discover, nurture and celebrate the unique strengths of each child, developing happy, confident and passionate learners within an inspiring environment. Pupils come from a range of professional backgrounds, with most families living within a 15-mile radius of the school. The school community reflects a fairly wide range of abilities. Provision is in place for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and the curriculum is adapted for those identified as more able. English as an additional language is supported by classroom teachers for the small number of pupils who need it.
