About Naima Jewish Preparatory School
Naima Jewish Preparatory School is a co-educational independent day school for pupils aged two to eleven, located in Maida Vale, north-west London. Founded in 1983 by Rabbi Dr Abraham Levy, who remains as honorary principal, governor and trustee, the school is a registered charity governed by a board of trustees. The school aims to meet the educational, spiritual and cultural needs of Jewish pupils by offering a strong secular education alongside a firm grounding in the Sephardi tradition. Within a nurturing and harmonious environment built on tolerance, respect and care for one another, pupils are prepared for success in wider society through a set of core principles that embrace both Jewish and British values. Pupils come from mainly professional backgrounds, with many families living locally. The school supports a range of learners, including those with special educational needs and disabilities and those for whom English is an additional language, as well as providing individual programmes for pupils who show particular talents in mathematics and literacy.
