About Woodlands School Hutton Manor
Woodlands School at Hutton Manor is a co-educational school welcoming children from three months to eleven years of age. Set within a generous 30-acre site, the school was founded in 2001, with the nursery, Little Acorns, joining the family in 2010. The school works closely with a nearby sister school, sharing good practice and policies. Children are warmly received into the nursery from three months old, moving through into the main school at three years of age. The school is organised into three sections: foundation stage for children aged three to five, infants for those aged five to seven, and juniors for those aged seven to eleven. At the heart of the school is a commitment to blending the best of traditional approaches with progressive ideas, nurturing curiosity, independence, and a love of learning in a safe and happy environment. Pupils come from local families and a range of cultural backgrounds, and the school takes care to support every child, whether through additional help for those with special educational needs or through enrichment opportunities for those who are more able and talented.
