About Warwick School
Warwick School is a day and boarding school for boys aged 7 to 19, set on a generous 50-acre site beside the River Avon, close to the heart of Warwick. The school has deep historical roots, with its origins traced to 914 AD, and has been based at its current home since 1879. It is part of the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation, alongside King's High School and Warwick Preparatory School. Two boarding houses sit within the main site, offering a welcoming home for boarders from Year 9 through to the sixth form. The school's guiding purpose is to inspire and nurture every pupil to thrive in the world — the Warwick Way. It aims to support boys morally, spiritually, intellectually, physically and socially, helping each young person build on his individual strengths and grow into a well-rounded young man who can play a positive role in the world. Most pupils come from professional and business families living within a 50-minute drive of the school. The school supports a range of needs within its community, including provision for pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, those who speak English as an additional language, and those identified as the most able, ensuring that every boy receives the support and challenge appropriate to him.
