About Warwick Preparatory School

Warwick Preparatory School is an independent co-educational day school on the outskirts of Warwick. It is part of the Warwick Independent Schools Foundation, alongside King's High School and Warwick School, with all three schools sharing the same governing directors. The school welcomes boys and girls aged 3 to 7 in its pre-prep, which includes an Early Years Foundation Stage, and goes on to offer prep provision for girls aged 7 to 11. A music school, shared with King's High School, has been completed in recent years. The school aims to foster a genuine love of learning, intellectual curiosity, and independence of thought, while providing a safe, stimulating, and supportive environment in which every pupil feels inspired, challenged, and valued. It also seeks to build resilience and confidence, and to offer pupils a rich school experience through which they can explore and develop their interests and talents. Most pupils come from local families with professional and business backgrounds. The school supports a number of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, providing specialist help for the majority of those identified, and also offers additional English language support to some pupils for whom English is an additional language. The curriculum is adapted to meet the needs of the school's most able pupils as well.
