About Streatham & Clapham High School
Streatham and Clapham High School is an independent day school for girls aged 3 to 18, located in south London. Founded in 1887 as Brixton High School, the school is part of the Girls' Day School Trust and is governed by a local board of governors. It welcomes pupils from a range of professional and business backgrounds across south London and the surrounding area, and reflects the cultural diversity of the communities it serves. The school offers provision from the Early Years Foundation Stage through to the sixth form, bringing together a nursery, preparatory school, senior school and sixth-form centre under one community. Pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as those for whom English is an additional language, are supported within the school. The school aims to empower its pupils to discover, nurture and project their unique identities and character, and to achieve beyond the bounds of expectation across all areas of school life.
