About Stormont School

Stormont School is an independent day school for girls, established as a charitable trust in 1962 and administered by a board of governors. The school welcomes pupils from the age of four through to eleven, with a pre-prep department covering the Early Years Foundation Stage for those aged four to seven, and a prep department for pupils aged seven to eleven. The school aims to help all pupils become happy, confident, and ambitious individuals, supporting them as they strive to do their best across academic, sporting, creative, and expressive areas of learning. The majority of pupils come from a range of professional and business backgrounds within a five-mile radius of the school. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities such as dyslexia and speech and language difficulties, as well as pupils with particular talents in music, art, and sport.
