St Albans High School for Girls is an academically selective independent day school for girls aged 4 to 18, founded in 1889 and established in the heart of St Albans since 1908. The preparatory school is located in the nearby village of Wheathampstead, where girls are welcomed from Reception age and progress through to 11, with the majority then moving on to the senior school.
