About Spring Grove School

Spring Grove School was founded in 1967 as an independent co-educational day school, set in fourteen acres of land close to the village of Wye in Kent. Housed in a Georgian mansion, the school is a charitable trust with its own board of governors and caters for children from the Early Years Foundation Stage through to Key Stage 2. In recent years the school has added a purpose-built pre-prep premises with an outdoor play area, refurbished its early years facilities, and provided external all-weather surfaces and an outdoor learning site. The school aims to provide a caring family environment that cultivates an appetite for adventure and a tolerance for error, developing pupils into confident, adaptive, responsive and caring people. Its motto, Always do your best, reflects its commitment to helping every child act independently and make the most of their abilities. Most pupils come from professional and business families living within a 30-minute drive of the school. The school supports a wide range of needs across its community, including pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those for whom English is an additional language, ensuring that additional support is in place for those who need it.
