About Micklefield School and Nursery
Micklefield School is an independent co-educational day school in Reigate, founded in 1910 and moved to its current location in 1925. Overseen by a board of governors, the school is organised into three sections: nursery, welcoming children from 2 years and nine months to 4 years; lower school, for pupils aged 4 to 7 years; and upper school, for pupils aged 7 to 11 years. The school aims to be a vibrant place with a warm, family environment, focusing on each child as an individual and encouraging them to thrive through a rich, broad and ambitious curriculum. It seeks to develop happy, confident and well-rounded children with a lifelong love of learning. Most pupils come from local families representing a range of professional and business backgrounds. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities such as dyslexia, as well as pupils for whom English is an additional language and those identified as the most able, for whom the curriculum is modified accordingly.
