About Lady Lane Park School & Nursery

Lady Lane Park School is a co-educational day school established in 1988. It comprises a nursery, situated on a nearby but separate site, alongside a pre-prep and a prep school. The school is part of Alpha Schools Holdings Ltd, which owns schools across the UK. The school aims to educate and develop all its pupils within a happy, caring community that places each individual at its heart. It offers a broad and varied curriculum designed to challenge more able pupils whilst supporting those who find learning more difficult. The school is committed to helping young people grow into safe, caring, responsible and tolerant adults who can make a positive contribution to their local community and the wider world, and it places a strong emphasis on partnership between home and school. Pupils come from a range of cultural backgrounds and represent a wide spread of abilities. The school identifies and supports pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, including dyslexia, and provides additional specialist help for those who need it. The curriculum is also adapted for pupils identified as more able, as well as for those with particular talents in areas such as sport, drama, music and art.
