About Ibstock Place School

Ibstock Place School is a co-educational independent day school founded in 1894, situated on a ten-acre site on the edge of Richmond Park in London. The school brings together a preparatory school, including Early Years, and a senior school with a sixth form, all on a single site. The governing board takes responsibility for the management of all aspects of the school.

The school has invested in a range of facilities in recent years, including a new refectory, a wellbeing centre, a redeveloped prep school, a forest school classroom, extended music school provision, and a climbing wall.

Pupils come from families with a variety of backgrounds across the surrounding London boroughs. The school supports pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, as well as those for whom English is an additional language, and it adapts its curriculum for the most able pupils and those with a particular talent. The school aims to encourage inquisitive and imaginative pupils to challenge ideas and make well-informed decisions, fostering values of honesty, integrity, tolerance, courtesy, and respect, while supporting pupils to be healthy and resilient as they pursue excellence.
