About Farnborough Hill
Farnborough Hill is a Catholic independent day school for girls, welcoming pupils from the age of 11 through to 18. Founded in 1889 and based on its current site in Farnborough since 1927, the school is governed by a board of trustees and a board of governors. It has a senior section for pupils aged 11 to 16, as well as a sixth form. At the heart of the school is a Roman Catholic ethos and a commitment to nurturing each pupil's personal, social and spiritual development alongside academic achievement. The school aims to educate the whole person within a caring Christian community, and to prepare every pupil to play a full and responsible part in the wider world. Pupils come from a range of social backgrounds, with most living within an hour's travel of the school. The school supports pupils with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities, and also makes provision for those who have been identified as having particular abilities, gifts or talents.
