About Burlington House School
Burlington House School is an independent co-educational day school in London, dedicated to supporting pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND). The school is organised into three sections: a prep school and senior school for pupils aged 7 to 16, both located in Fulham, and a sixth form on a separate site in Ravenscourt Park. The school is part of the Cavendish Education Group and was formerly known as The Moat School, adopting its current name in September 2022. The school aims to provide a safe, warm, caring and stimulating environment where every pupil can develop their skills, talents, resilience and self-confidence, and go on to live independent and fulfilling lives. The school welcomes pupils from a range of backgrounds, most of whom live within 20 miles of the school. The majority of pupils have identified SEND, including conditions such as dyslexia, and many hold an education, health and care plan. A small number of pupils speak English as an additional language and receive tailored support. The school also recognises pupils with particular talents, including in the creative and performing arts, and adapts its curriculum accordingly.
