About Broomfield House School
Broomfield House School is an independent, co-educational day school founded in 1876. It has been part of Dukes Education since 2019 and is led by a head appointed that same year. The outdoor area has been thoughtfully developed to include a reflection space around the pond, adding to the welcoming environment the school works hard to create. The school aims to provide a caring, safe community where every child can thrive both academically and personally. It places great importance on helping children develop a strong sense of values — including kindness, curiosity, creativity and courage — alongside a broad curriculum designed to nurture enquiring minds and a genuine love of learning. Pupils come mainly from local families in the areas of Kew, Richmond and Chiswick. The school community is enriched by pupils who speak a wide range of languages at home, and dedicated support is available for those with special educational needs and/or disabilities as well as for those learning English as an additional language. More able pupils are also catered for through extension and enrichment activities.
