Annemount School is a co-educational independent day school situated in Hampstead Garden Suburb in north-west London. Founded in 1936, the school is led by its proprietor, who also serves as headmistress and oversees the governance and financial management of the school. At Annemount, the focus is on bringing out the individuality of each child, helping pupils to realise their potential through self-discipline and respect. The school places great importance on nurturing good character and a sense of citizenship, so that every child can feel a valued member of the wider community. Pupils are drawn mainly from the local area and come predominantly from business and professional families. The school supports pupils with a range of needs, including those who speak English as an additional language, and adapts its curriculum for the most able pupils. Provision is also in place for any pupil who requires additional support with special educational needs or disabilities.
