What's inside
Vocabulary is one of the biggest single predictors of 11+ verbal-reasoning and comprehension scores. The list below is targetted specifically as the collection of words children need to know heading into the 11+.
The list is divided into three tiers, from ‘Must Know’ — the set of words all children should be confident in using, through to ‘Stretch’ — a set of higher-level academic words that appear in comprehension passages for the most selective schools.
