About The River School
The River School is a co-educational independent day school in Worcester, welcoming pupils from the age of 2 through to 16. With nursery, primary and senior departments all under one roof, it has been providing education since 1985 and is owned and governed by the Worcester Christian Education Trust. Founded on Christian principles, the school aims to help every pupil grow into a confident, well-rounded individual with strong character, knowledge and skills. The hope is that when young people leave, they carry with them a sense of purpose, a desire to contribute to their community, and a commitment to serving those around them. Pupils come from a range of backgrounds, predominantly from families living within 15 miles of the school. The school is attentive to the needs of all its learners, offering specialist support for those with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as tailoring the curriculum for its most able pupils. Before- and after-school care is also available, giving families a little extra flexibility in their day.
