About The Belvedere Preparatory School
The Belvedere Preparatory School is an independent co-educational day school for pupils aged between three and eleven, located in the Liverpool area. Founded in 1880 as the junior department of a local school for female pupils, it has had an interesting journey over the years, separating to become The Hamlets Preparatory School in 2006 before being renamed The Belvedere Preparatory School in 2010 when it also began welcoming male pupils. The school aims to provide a creative, vibrant and academic education, releasing and enhancing each child's unique skills and talents within an environment of care and respect. Pupils come from a range of professional and business backgrounds, and the school works hard to support every child, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities and those identified as the most able.
