About St Wystan's School
St Wystan's is a co-educational independent day school for boys and girls aged between two and a half and eleven years, situated in the heart of the village of Repton. Founded in 1926, the school is a charitable trust overseen by a board of governors. Children move through three sections during their time at the school: the Early Years Foundation Stage for those under five, the pre-prep for ages five to seven, and the prep school for ages seven to eleven. The school aims to provide an all-round education in a safe, supportive and happy family environment, helping every child to reach their full potential. It seeks to nurture creativity, independence, confidence, and a sense of respect and tolerance for others — values that are captured in the school's motto, Where Children Come First. Pupils come from a variety of professional backgrounds, with most families living within a 20-mile radius of the school. The school supports pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, as well as children for whom English is an additional language, and offers extension and enrichment activities for its most able learners.
