The school is a registered charity and is governed by a board of directors. At the heart of the school are the values of community, confidence, creativity and curiosity. The school strives to nurture a genuine love of learning alongside mutual respect, friendship, kindness and honesty. Christian values and tolerance for others are also woven into everyday school life, with pupils encouraged to achieve across academic subjects, sport and the arts. Pupils are drawn from the local area and represent a range of needs and abilities. The school provides additional specialist support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and class teachers offer tailored support for those for whom English is an additional language.
