About Richmond House School
Richmond House is a co-educational day school welcoming pupils from the ages of three to eleven. Founded in 1934 as a non-denominational school in the Christian tradition, it is overseen by a charitable trust whose trustees serve as the governing body. The school warmly welcomes pupils of all faiths and of none. The school aims to give each pupil a well-rounded education and the opportunity to grow into a confident, hard-working and successful individual. Every child is valued for who they are and for their individual talents, within a happy and friendly atmosphere that encourages enquiring minds and a sense of responsibility for the world around us. Most pupils come from the local area and from a variety of backgrounds, professions and cultures. The school supports pupils with a range of needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, those for whom English is an additional language, and those who would benefit from individually tailored opportunities beyond the classroom.
