About Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch Schools
Oholei Yosef Yitzchok Lubavitch Schools is a Jewish independent day school founded in 1997. It is registered as a single-sex school for female pupils, with male pupils admitted into the EYFS. Pupils in year 12 follow a specialist faith-based curriculum in preparation for application to Jewish seminaries around the world. The school is a registered charity, owned and governed by the Lubavitch community. The school aims to provide pupils with a sound Jewish and secular education within the Lubavitch traditions, helping them to achieve high standards and fulfil their potential. It seeks to offer a caring, welcoming and secure environment, enabling pupils to become fulfilled, self-confident, worshipping and responsible members of society. Pupils come from Jewish families in Manchester and other areas in the north-west of England. The school supports pupils with a range of needs, including those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, and provides classroom support for pupils for whom English is an additional language.
