About Maple Walk School

Maple Walk School is an independent co-educational school in Harlesden for pupils aged 4 to 11. Founded in 2004, the school began with just two pupils in a church hall before moving into purpose-built accommodation in 2009. It is organised into a lower school covering Reception and Years 1 and 2, and an upper school for Years 3 to 6. The school aims to provide a traditional education with a focus on developing a positive attitude to learning. It works to nurture confident and articulate pupils, supporting each child to reach their academic and personal potential. The school welcomes pupils from a range of ethnic backgrounds, many of whom live within the local area. Provision is in place to support pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, those who speak English as an additional language, and those who show particular academic ability or talent in areas such as sport, drama, or music. The curriculum is adapted to meet the needs of all pupils.
