About Hunter Hall School

Hunter Hall School is a co-educational day school set in a rural location on the outskirts of Penrith. Founded in 1985, the school moved to its current site in 1991 and has since grown to welcome children from the age of three through to eleven, encompassing the Early Years Foundation Stage. The school is run as a charitable company overseen by a governing body. Pupils come from a range of family backgrounds, predominantly from rural communities across the Eden Valley. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, and tailors its curriculum to meet the needs of its most able learners too. Hunter Hall aims to empower its pupils and nurture their independence through both academic endeavour and pastoral care. It seeks to develop confident and resilient young people by offering a broad range of opportunities inside and outside the classroom, alongside a co-curricular programme and a commitment to building positive partnerships within the local community.
