About Godolphin, Salisbury
Godolphin School is a day and boarding school for female pupils, founded in 1726 and set on its current site since 1890. The school has a Christian foundation with links to Salisbury Cathedral, and is a registered charity governed by a body that includes former pupils and representatives nominated by the cathedral. Pupils come from a range of professional backgrounds across a wide catchment area around Salisbury, as well as from other parts of the country, with approximately one-tenth coming from overseas. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities, and those for whom English is an additional language. At the heart of the school is a commitment to building a strong sense of community, helping every pupil to discover their strengths, grow in confidence, and feel ready to embrace the challenges that lie ahead.
