About Glebe House School
Glebe House School and Nursery is an independent day and boarding school for boys and girls aged from 6 months to 13 years, situated near Hunstanton on the north-west Norfolk coast. Founded in 1874, the school is a charitable trust overseen by a board of governors. The Nursery is housed in its own self-contained premises and is open for 50 weeks of the year. Boarding is available for boys and girls in separate houses, on either a regular weekly or occasional basis. The school is committed to being a safe and happy place where pupils of all abilities can thrive, and aims to send children on at thirteen feeling resilient, courteous, and self-confident. Talent and achievement are encouraged across academic work, sport, art, music, and drama. Pupils come from the surrounding area, largely reflecting the local community. The curriculum is adapted to support pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, as well as those who are more able or talented, ensuring that every child is well looked after during their time at the school.
