About Faraday School
Faraday School is an independent co-educational day school in east London, founded in 2009. It is single-form entry and welcomes children from Reception through to Year 6, organised across three sections: Early Years Foundation Stage for children aged 4 to 5, lower school for ages 5 to 7, and upper school for ages 7 to 11. The school is owned by The New Model School Company, whose board of directors oversees its running with the support of an advisory board. The school aims to nurture and inspire its pupils, helping them to fulfil their potential and grow in maturity and self-confidence. It places particular emphasis on instilling positive habits of learning and behaviour from an early age, whilst also maintaining strong links with families and offering good value. Most pupils come from local families with a range of professional and business backgrounds. The school supports pupils with a variety of needs and talents, providing specialist help for those with special educational needs and/or disabilities, additional English language support where needed, and a modified curriculum for the most able pupils and those with particular talents in areas such as art, music, dance, drama, sport and French.
