About Eversfield Preparatory School

Eversfield Preparatory School is an independent co-educational day school welcoming children between the ages of 3 and 11. Founded in 1931, the school has grown over the decades and is now overseen by a board of governors as an educational trust. The school is organised into three sections: Lower School, covering Nursery, Kindergarten and Reception; Middle School for Years 1 to 3; and Upper School for Years 4 to 6. The school draws its pupils from within a four-mile radius and serves a range of professional and ethnic backgrounds. It aims to nurture high moral standards alongside a breadth of experiences, helping every child to discover and develop their individual talents. A strong emphasis is placed on building self-confidence and leadership skills, and on creating a safe environment where children feel comfortable learning from their mistakes. Support is available for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, as well as for those for whom English is an additional language, ensuring that all children are valued members of the school community.
