About Elmhurst School Ltd
Elmhurst School is an independent day school for boys aged 3 to 11, founded in 1869. It was privately owned until 2013, when it became part of the Bellevue Education Group Limited. Bellevue's directors act as the school's proprietors, with governance overseen by the group's education committee. the school aims to nurture and support the boys through every step of their learning, inspire them with a broad and stimulating curriculum, and celebrate the unique talents of every pupil. three core values form the guiding principles of everything the school does, blending innovation with tradition to prepare boys for their futures. Pupils come from a range of professional families, mostly living within a 10-mile radius of the school, and bring with them diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds. the school supports pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, including dyslexia and dyspraxia, and makes provision for its most able pupils as well as those with particular talents in sport.
