About Cundall Manor School
Cundall Manor is a co-educational day and boarding school welcoming pupils from the age of two through to sixteen. Founded on its current site in 1959, the school is organised into three sections: a Pre-Preparatory department covering Nursery through to Year 2, a Preparatory department for Years 3 to 8, and an Upper School for Years 9 to 11. The school operates as a charitable trust, governed by a board of trustees, and boarders are accommodated within the main school building. The school is committed to providing a broad and balanced curriculum within a happy and nurturing environment. It aims to foster self-worth, confidence, good judgement and independence in every pupil, while promoting equal opportunities through a caring community where pupils, parents and professionals work together. Pupils come from a range of professional and rural backgrounds, mostly from families living within 15 miles of the school. The school supports a wide variety of learners, including pupils with special educational needs and disabilities such as dyslexia and dyspraxia, pupils for whom English is an additional language, and those with particular talents in areas such as sport, art, music or drama. The curriculum is thoughtfully adapted to ensure all pupils are well supported and appropriately challenged.
