About Castle Court

Castle Court Preparatory School is a co-educational day school set in a rural location near the village of Corfe Mullen, between Wimborne and Poole in Dorset. Founded in Parkstone in 1948, the school moved to its current home in 1968 and is run as a registered charity directed by a governing body. The school aims to provide pupils with an all-round and innovative education rooted in Christian principles, nurturing a genuine love of learning in an atmosphere of respect, kindness and fun. It seeks to equip children with the skills to flourish both inside and outside the classroom and to be well prepared for the wider world. The school offers provision from EYFS through to Year 8 and has introduced the pre-senior baccalaureate across the whole school. Most pupils come from business and professional family backgrounds and live within 20 miles of the school. The school supports a number of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities, as well as those for whom English is an additional language, and makes curriculum adaptations for its most able learners.
