About All Hallows School

All Hallows School is a Christian independent co-educational day and boarding school, founded in 1938 and settled at its current site since 1946. Boarders are accommodated in one house within the main building, with segregated sleeping areas. The school is governed by the Monkton Combe Trust, whose directors serve as both governors and trustees. The school's mission is to provide a secure, happy and inclusive community where pupils can develop the inner confidence and self-esteem needed to flourish in a rapidly changing world. It aims to broaden individual minds by encouraging learning and independence of thought, cultivating self-belief, skills, wisdom and curiosity, and by drawing on an understanding of the Christian faith to make the world a better place. Pupils come from a range of professional and home backgrounds, with most living within a 15-mile radius of the school. The school makes specific provision for its most able pupils, as well as for those with particular talents in art, drama, creative design, music and sport. It also supports pupils with special educational needs and disabilities, including those with dyslexia, dyspraxia, autistic spectrum disorder and social, emotional and mental health needs.
